Recent Work

Recently I’ve been making lots of coil built vessels. I didn’t have the space to make truly large pieces in the past, and now that I have more room I’ve been experimenting with big shapes. Really big, Big enough to hold at least 100 lemons. Big enough for 3 or more cats to hide in at once. Big enough to store several thousand tiny ceramic skulls if you’re a weirdo, or if you run a boutique that sells tiny ceramic skulls (contact me!)

I’ve also been exploring new clay bodies and textures. and different firing processes to create even more weathered surfaces.

I have to say, big wonky weathered pots are probably my favorite thing to make.
